Remote Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Detox Center Specialist

Work Environment

While you will be working from home, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team that meets regularly through virtual platforms to discuss patient progress and strategies for effective intervention. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct timely sessions with clients, ensuring they are seen during their scheduled appointments to foster trust and commitment to their recovery.
• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs, regularly revising them to reflect their progress and ongoing challenges.
• Actively contribute to treatment teams, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to promote comprehensive care tailored to detox and recovery.
• Monitor and track clients’ conditions, providing continuous feedback and support to help them achieve their treatment goals.
• Utilize clinical assessments to develop and implement effective treatment strategies.
• Engage with families and other support systems, such as school personnel, to ensure that all aspects of the client’s life are addressed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with clients undergoing detoxification from substance use, a particularly vulnerable and critical phase in the recovery process. You will develop a deep understanding of their unique challenges and provide tailored support that respects their individual journeys. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in facilitating their transition to a healthier life.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current, active, and unrestricted Clinical Social Worker license (LCSW).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
• Demonstrated clinical skills in conducting psychosocial history, case management evaluations, and suicide assessments.
• Ability to manage conflicts and demonstrate effective communication techniques with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a detox facility or program, providing insight into the unique challenges faced by clients.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing social work and healthcare delivery.
• Proven ability to engage with both clients and families to support recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
