Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Remote Detox Center Specialist

Position Overview

Community Mental Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time capacity. This remote role focuses on providing integrated social work services at our Detox Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' social, emotional, and environmental challenges to inform effective intervention strategies.
• Develop and manage individualized service plans that include specific goals, interventions, and ongoing progress monitoring to support each client's journey toward recovery.
• Provide individual and family counseling, utilizing evidence-based practices to address addiction-related issues and enhance coping mechanisms.
• Engage in crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning when clients face immediate challenges; ensure their safety and well-being.
• Work collaboratively with clients to connect them with community resources, including housing, job placement, and substance abuse treatment services.
• Maintain ongoing communication with community organizations to ensure seamless service coordination and effective client advocacy.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and collaborative planning sessions to enhance service delivery processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals struggling with substance use disorders, mental health issues, and related socio-economic challenges. This diverse client population may include those facing homelessness, domestic violence, and other urgent life circumstances. Your work in fostering trust and rapport will be crucial in facilitating recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong understanding of social and economic justice issues as well as knowledge of community resources relevant to substance abuse and mental health.
• Exceptional communication skills, cultural competence, and the ability to navigate complex social dynamics.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a social service agency or mental health setting, particularly focused on addiction or crisis intervention.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and a commitment to applying these in practice.
• Experience engaging in community outreach and awareness campaigns.

Compensation and Benefits
