Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the specific mental health issues affecting each patient.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of clients.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches, to facilitate client progress.
• Maintain updated knowledge of advancements in counseling methodologies to provide the best care possible.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when referrals are necessary, ensuring continuity of care for clients.
• Document all sessions accurately in compliance with legal and ethical standards while maintaining confidentiality.
• Engage clients in meaningful discussions, fostering a safe environment conducive to openness and healing.
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance care strategies and share insights.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC will primarily serve a diverse range of adult clients dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role will involve not only individual therapy but also exploring group counseling opportunities to foster community and support among clients facing similar challenges.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients and encourage them to share their experiences.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and a commitment to conducting sessions in a virtual format.
• A passion for helping others and a commitment to continuous improvement in therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical counseling setting, particularly with telehealth services.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and methodologies tailored to individual client needs.
• Experience in crisis intervention and management to assist clients in acute distress.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an attractive annual salary in the range of USD 75,000–90,000, reflecting your experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we provide:
