Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at our outpatient treatment center, you will:

• Conduct group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions that help clients share their experiences, learn from one another, and foster a sense of belonging and support.

• Provide individual therapy tailored to each client’s unique needs, exploring their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while collaboratively developing effective coping strategies and actionable goals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in partnership with clients, ensuring each plan aligns with their personal aspirations and areas requiring attention.

• Utilize assessment tools and ongoing feedback to monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their developmental journey.

• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, engaging in regular communication, care coordination, and case consultation for complex situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on teens and young adults, specifically those aged 18 to 30, who are facing various mental health challenges. Our outpatient treatment center provides programming designed to empower these individuals and help them navigate through their struggles towards paths of recovery and personal development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience, particularly with youth and young adult populations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to create trust and rapport with clients and their families.

• Proficiency in treatment planning and understanding of evidence-based practices in mental health.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care) or experience in group therapy facilitation will be favorably considered. Understanding of community resources and networks pertinent to mental health support in the Reading area can be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
