Key Responsibilities

• Document patient interactions accurately in our electronic health record system, ensuring that all entries adhere to compliance and regulatory standards.
• Participate in staff meetings and mandatory in-services to stay informed about new practices and updates within the department.
• Develop and implement educational programs for patients regarding dermatological conditions and treatments.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following infection control protocols and using appropriate protective gear.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The role will primarily involve interacting with residents of the assisted living facility, many of whom may present with chronic skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and age-related dermatological changes. A keen understanding of the special needs of elderly patients, along with sensitivity to their health conditions, is essential for providing effective, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Nursing is required to qualify for this position.
• Current Nurse Practitioners Certification (NP-C) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications are mandatory.
