Foothills Neurology & Pediatrics is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in neurology to join our dedicated team in East Amherst, New York. Work Environment

This position will be based onsite, primarily within a school setting where we collaborate with educational professionals to ensure that our pediatric patients receive optimal care. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, including one late shift per week from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on a rotational basis, and occasional Saturday hours from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm as dictated by patient demand. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and review medical histories to develop detailed evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of neurological conditions, both medical and cosmetic.
• Perform advanced cosmetic procedures such as Botox injections and fillers, ensuring safe and effective delivery.
• Assist in cancer screenings and provide comprehensive post-operative care to patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create personalized treatment plans that emphasize patient goals and outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) with a concentration in neurology or completion of an accredited family nurse practitioner program with neurology coursework is required.
• Possession of the Neurology Certified Nurse Practitioner (NCNP) credential from the Neurology Nursing Certification Board (NNCB).
• Demonstrable clinical skills in neurology, including experience with diagnostic and treatment protocols.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in a neurology setting is preferred. Familiarity with cosmetic procedures such as Botox and fillers will be considered an asset, given the dual focus of care in our practice's offerings.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 120,000 to 180,000 annually, determined based on experience and performance.
