The Mental Health Counselor position operates in a predominantly remote setting, combined with occasional in-person visits to our Troy outpatient office. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health statuses through interviews and standardized assessment tools.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and referrals using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from various backgrounds and may face a wide range of mental health issues, including but not limited to substance abuse disorders, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work closely with individuals from diverse cultures and demographics, requiring a high level of cultural competence and sensitivity. Your work will be integral in helping clients navigate their challenges and achieve sustainable mental health improvements.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of New York, such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• A minimum of two years of related clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating a track record of successful patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
