This role is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while maintaining the ability to provide essential services to our clients. Our clinic operates from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, ensuring that treatment strategies are accurately tailored to their unique needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and personal growth, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
\n
• Utilize specialized therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve overall emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive integrated care for patients, enhancing therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services tailored to individuals experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a safe environment for critical support.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to aid in their understanding and recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards while staying current with all regulatory requirements.

• Engage in regular case consultations and participate in team meetings to share insights, updates, and foster best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Commit to ongoing education, incorporating the latest research and interventions in the field of trauma therapy into your practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve assisting patients recovering from psychological trauma, including issues related to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas is required.
\n
• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience, demonstrating supportive practice in a mental health setting.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, paired with a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude.
\n
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations while working effectively within a team-oriented environment.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems as well as general computer applications pertinent to the role.

• Capability and willingness to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of direct experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience working within a trauma-informed care framework and an understanding of its application.

Compensation and Benefits\n
