Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to identify client concerns and co-create personalized treatment plans that align with their goals.

• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions, employing a variety of evidence-based techniques tailored to individual client needs, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or mindfulness-based interventions.

• Utilize collaborative problem-solving techniques in therapy sessions to empower clients to overcome obstacles and implement actionable strategies for achieving mental wellness.

• Conduct crisis intervention as necessary, providing immediate support to clients in distress and developing safety plans to protect their wellbeing.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to ethical and legal standards, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations to share insights and strategies, foster connections with colleagues, and enhance service delivery.

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of therapeutic programs by sharing innovative ideas and best practices.

• Participate in ongoing professional training and development to remain current with the latest research, trends, and best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary responsibilities will focus on working with clients experiencing challenges with anxiety, depression, trauma, dysfunctional relationships, and other emotional distress. As a mental health professional, you will develop meaningful relationships with diverse populations, adapting your approaches to reflect the unique experiences and cultural backgrounds of your clients.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling services to clients with diverse emotional challenges is preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise in working with various therapeutic modalities to address complex mental health issues.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to streamline documentation and client management.

• Strong interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport with clients, demonstrating empathy and support.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 52,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the attractive compensation, we also provide flexible scheduling options, ensuring our staff are supported in maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
