Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our rehabilitation facility, you will work onsite within a professional and collaborative setting. Our team of healthcare professionals focuses on multidisciplinary care that promotes synergy in treatment plans. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while you dedicate your skills to helping others.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the unique goals and needs of each patient, creating personalized treatment plans that prioritize their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring quality attention and care for each client.
• Leverage your orthopedic outpatient experience to propose innovative, cost-effective treatment methodologies aimed at enhancing motion and mobility.
• Utilize non-surgical treatment options to minimize reliance on medications, promoting holistic recovery pathways.
• Employ diverse therapeutic techniques to develop comprehensive care plans, integrating manual therapy with exercise and education.
• Customize strength and wellness programs based on thorough evaluations and ongoing patient feedback.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment protocols for continuity of care and compliance with healthcare standards.
• Motivate and engage patients throughout their treatment plans, celebrating their achievements while addressing challenges proactively.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations to monitor progress and adapt treatment approaches as necessary, ensuring optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will predominantly serve a diverse clientele, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical patients, and those managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your focus will be on fostering not just physical recovery but also instilling confidence in patients as they navigate their rehabilitation journeys.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Exemplary manual therapy skills and a proven ability to establish effective exercise routines tuned to each patient's needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, ensuring efficient patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of three years of experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy is required, candidates with advanced certifications or training in specialized therapeutic techniques are highly desirable. A demonstrated ability to work with a variety of patient populations will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
