Our multidisciplinary team includes experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, all of whom are committed to providing personalized and effective patient care. Work Environment

This position is onsite at our fully equipped rehabilitation center, where you will find a welcoming atmosphere complemented by a team-oriented culture. The center is designed to cater to patients with diverse rehabilitation needs, primarily those covered by private medical insurance. As part of a dedicated team of two other physical therapists and one PTA, you will benefit from a rich environment that encourages knowledge sharing and collaborative practices, ensuring that every patient receives the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify patient objectives and requirements within a healthcare setting.
• Providing one-on-one therapy sessions, effectively managing a workload of one patient per hour.
• Creating individualized care plans and implementing evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Utilizing a variety of treatment techniques to enhance patient mobility, strength, and function.
• Minimizing reliance on medications and offering alternative solutions to surgical interventions whenever possible.
• Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records of treatments and care provided through EMR systems like WebPT.
• Collaborating alongside other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
• Motivating and encouraging patients throughout their rehabilitation to ensure they achieve maximum functional potential.
• Monitoring treatment effectiveness and making necessary adjustments based on patient feedback and progress evaluations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic conditions, with patients ranging from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults seeking rehabilitation after surgeries. By tailoring your approach to each individual, you will promote a healthy lifestyle while enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination in our clients. Your role will be pivotal in supporting them as they work towards achieving their personal health and mobility goals.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must have:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid California state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean disciplinary record with no instances of board actions against your license.
• Proficiency in employing manual therapy techniques as well as developing exercise regimens.
• Strong communication skills to effectively document services and interact with patients and staff.
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Exposure to a diverse patient population and familiarity with various treatment methodologies will be viewed positively. Experience in conducting assessments and developing comprehensive treatment plans is crucial to success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This pressing role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise.
