Work Environment

This Physician Assistant role is primarily onsite at our state-of-the-art surgical center in Yonkers. The work hours will predominantly be Monday to Friday, with a 5:00 PM shift, contributing to a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, meticulously reviewing patient medical histories to inform medical decisions.
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests—including blood tests and imaging studies—interpreting results to guide treatment options.
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for various health conditions, ensuring effective management of chronic and acute illnesses within the framework of family medicine.
• Prescribe medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and organized electronic medical records to document patient progress and treatment plans accurately.
• Educate patients and their families on preventive care, disease management, and lifestyle modifications to enhance their overall health.
• Participate in daily rounds and collaborate with healthcare teams to provide thorough oversight of patients’ health status.

Compensation and Benefits

The Physician Assistant position offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
