CareSync Healthcare Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Surgical Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team in Yonkers, New York. In this full-time, onsite role, the Physician Assistant (PA) will collaborate closely with our surgical team to assess, diagnose, plan, and implement comprehensive medical care for patients. Work Environment

The Surgical Center at CareSync provides a collaborative and fast-paced work environment where teamwork and effective communication are vital. Here, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team that includes surgeons, nurses, and support staff, all dedicated to improving patient outcomes. The center operates Monday through Friday, allowing for consistent hours and a strong work-life balance, with a schedule typically from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The environment encourages professional development and innovation in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and evaluate medical histories to formulate accurate diagnoses.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood tests, imaging, and other necessary procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for chronic and acute health conditions, ensuring continuity of care.
• Perform therapeutic procedures as delegated by the supervising physician, including assisting in surgeries, wound care, and minor procedures.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments while closely monitoring patient responses.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and follow-up care in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Engage in daily rounds and utilize a multi-disciplinary approach to coordinate patient care efficiently.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to clinical audits, and implement evidence-based practices.
• Stay current with advancements in healthcare practices and guidelines to enhance the quality of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse patient population, including individuals undergoing elective and emergency surgical procedures. You will play a crucial role in guiding patients through their surgical journey, ensuring they receive the necessary support and education to prepare for and recover from surgery. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant and a valid DEA number.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in a surgical or family health clinic setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in family medicine or surgical practice, with a strong clinical background in primary care.
• In-depth knowledge of health regulations, procedures, and best practices in patient care.
• Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with patients, families, and team members.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $140,000 to $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
