Work Environment\n

This role is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the Utica, New York area. Our team utilizes advanced telehealth technologies to maintain a collaborative and efficient work environment. You will engage with clients through secure video conferencing platforms, ensuring they receive the same quality of care as in-person sessions. Regular virtual team meetings and supervision sessions will keep you connected to your colleagues and the organization’s goals, fostering effective communication and support even from a distance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families by employing diverse therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

• Regularly evaluate client progress, adjust treatment plans, and engage in continuous feedback to ensure therapeutic goals are met effectively.

• Document all client interactions and treatment planning within our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with state regulations and HIPAA confidentiality standards.

• Participate in the organization’s professional development initiatives, including workshops and training to stay abreast of advances in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients represent a broad spectrum of ages, backgrounds, and mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and various emotional and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York state.

• Experience providing therapy to diverse populations, demonstrating proficiency in working with individuals, couples, and families.

• Strong clinical acumen and deep understanding of evidence-based treatment approaches relevant to various mental health conditions.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Capable of working independently while being a supportive team player.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on mental health therapy.

• Experience using teletherapy platforms and electronic health record systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Salary for this position ranges from USD 52,000 to USD 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
