Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate the mental health conditions and strengths of students, gathering pertinent information to inform treatment strategies.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.

• Develop detailed, client-centered treatment plans with measurable goals and interventions, collaborating with educators and other healthcare providers for a holistic approach to care.

• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning to students who may be experiencing acute mental health crises.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of all client interactions in accordance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops aimed at enhancing students' coping skills and promoting mental health awareness.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including school psychologists and special education staff, to ensure a coordinated effort in supporting students' mental health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele of school-aged children and adolescents, encompassing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, and adjustment issues. Your expertise will help empower students to overcome personal challenges and thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, with a strong focus on therapeutic practices.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a solid knowledge of mental health diagnostics.
