Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial patient screenings, including comprehensive health histories and physical examinations.
• Maintain and update patient records accurately for each appointment, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Analyze test results, make informed decisions on follow-up appointments, and recommend additional treatment options as necessary.
• Deliver high-quality patient care while achieving performance metrics related to productivity and service excellence.
• Act as a reliable resource for patients needing continuous care, offering counseling and guidance for chronic and critical conditions.
• Empower patients through education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options, emphasizing harm reduction techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will primarily serve the student population within our school setting, addressing a range of health issues that can affect academic performance and overall well-being. This includes managing common illnesses, promoting mental health awareness, and providing preventive care tailored to the needs of children and adolescents.

Qualifications

• Active certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner with a focus on Family Medicine.
• Possession of a valid Family Nurse Practitioner license in New York State.
• A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field, or successful completion of an approved supplemental education program.
• At least 2 years of nursing experience, particularly in primary care or family medicine.
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing physical examinations, diagnosing common illnesses, and managing chronic health conditions.
• Exceptional communication skills, ensuring effective interaction with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a school-based health setting or similar environments focusing on pediatric care.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology tools to support patient management.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver collaborative patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 160,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being.
