Work Environment

This position will be an onsite role within a hospital setting, allowing you direct access to a wide array of medical resources and specialists. You will work Monday to Friday from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am, ensuring that our patients receive attentive and timely care during extended operational hours. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient examinations, thoroughly reviewing medical histories and records.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging studies, to assist in accurate diagnosis.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic conditions, providing patients with comprehensive and compassionate medical care.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices for chronic disease management.
• Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness, ensuring adherence to treatment regimens for optimal health outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous patient records within our electronic health record system, adhering to regulatory standards for confidentiality and accuracy.
• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, management strategies, and healthy lifestyle choices to encourage proactive health management.
• Monitor overall patient health and well-being, offering support and encouragement throughout their healthcare journey.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying abreast of the latest medical research and clinical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physician Assistant at our clinic, you will work with a wide-ranging patient demographic, from young children to the elderly. Qualifications

• Valid State Physician Assistant license (PA-C) is required.
• A DEA number is necessary for prescribing medications.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a clinical, hospital, ER, or urgent care environment.

Compensation and Benefits
