Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to effectively evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that cater to each patient’s unique circumstances, developmental stage, and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family systems therapy, to address a wide range of mental health issues.

• Conduct family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers, focusing on fostering a supportive and nurturing environment that enhances the well-being of the child.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists, school counselors, and other health professionals to provide integrated and holistic care.

• Offer crisis intervention services, providing immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, promoting awareness and understanding.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards, utilizing EHR systems for efficient record keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents aged 5 to 18 years, addressing a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral disorders, and trauma-related issues. You will work collaboratively with families to ensure that treatment approaches are aligned with the unique challenges and strengths of each child.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge in child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practices.

• Proven experience providing individual and family therapy, ideally within a school or educational setting.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, child-centered approach.

• Ability to establish rapport with children, adolescents, and their families, facilitating a trusting therapeutic relationship.

• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and a willingness to engage with telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
