You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions, all while working remotely to provide accessible care.

Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with patients and their families. You will be part of a dynamic team comprising experienced child psychiatrists and mental health professionals, where collaboration and communication are key to ensuring holistic care. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify their unique needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's developmental stage and family background.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a range of mental health issues, ensuring each patient's treatment is both effective and appropriate.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate coherent and comprehensive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and rapid support for individuals facing acute mental health emergencies.

• Empower patients and their families through education regarding mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources.

• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential patient records adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Actively participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing to the ongoing development of treatment strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a counseling or therapy setting.
\n
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and effective therapeutic interventions.

• Experience providing individual and family counseling focused on young patients.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a compassionate and child-centered approach.

• Ability to establish rapport and build trusting relationships with children, adolescents, and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
