Work Environment\n

This position will be entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while you provide critical support to children and adolescents. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of child psychiatrists and mental health professionals. Communication will primarily take place through telehealth sessions, emails, and virtual team meetings. Occasional evening shifts may be required based on patient needs, ensuring that we can accommodate families with varied schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately understand the individual needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that are sensitive to the developmental stages of the child and the unique dynamics within their families.

• Provide therapy using evidence-based interventions to help address anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral disorders prevalent among youth.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers, enhancing their ability to foster supportive environments for their children.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated, holistic approach to mental health care.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention when required, providing necessary support during mental health emergencies involving young patients.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous records, ensuring all documentation adheres to legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in professional development activities and team meetings to stay abreast of current research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary responsibility will be to work with children and adolescents dealing with a variety of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. By understanding their unique situations, you will play a critical part in their healing journey, promoting resilience and coping strategies that empower them both now and in the future.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required for this position.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York is essential.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 80,000 and 100,000.
