Work Environment

Your practice will be conducted onsite in our outpatient office, providing a conducive atmosphere designed to facilitate effective therapeutic interventions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, assessing their need for orthopedic physical therapy due to injuries, medical conditions, or post-surgical recovery.
• Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and the application of modalities to enhance recovery paths.
• Implement treatment plans designed to decrease pain, improve mobility, and enhance strength and function for all patients.
• Document all patient encounters meticulously in accordance with facility and regulatory standards, tracking progress, and outcomes.
• Perform regular reassessments to modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring alignment with therapeutic goals and patient needs.
• Provide necessary education to patients, families, and care teams regarding therapy techniques and the use of assistive devices to foster independence and enhance overall quality of life.
• Participate in professional development through attending workshops, training sessions, and conferences to stay abreast of industry trends and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid and active State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring adherence to local regulations and standards.
• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy or a relevant clinical setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fostering effective interactions with patients and interdisciplinary team members.
• Proficient computer skills, enabling the effective documentation and management of electronic health records.
• Ability to adapt and respond swiftly to changing situations, demonstrating flexibility in approach and treatment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient therapy setting, particularly involving orthopedic cases.
• Familiarity with the latest therapy techniques and modalities.
• Background in providing mentorship or training to less experienced therapists or students.

Compensation and Benefits
