Work Environment\n

As a remote telehealth facility, South Shore Behavioral Health Center offers you the opportunity to work from the comfort of your home while connecting with patients through a secure virtual platform. Our practice maintains a culture of collaboration, encouraging regular communication and support among colleagues. Our work schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to address patient needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments that consider the diverse backgrounds and experiences of patients.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based therapeutic interventions that respect patients' cultural contexts.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to address the specific mental health concerns of various clients.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care.

• Offer prompt crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, providing immediate support and solutions.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can aid their wellness journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring the highest level of professionalism.

• Engage in regular case conferences and team meetings, embracing opportunities for ongoing cultural competency training.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• Demonstrable knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and the principles of cultural competence in therapy.

• Proven experience in providing individual and group therapy utilizing inclusive and culturally responsive techniques.

• Strong crisis intervention abilities with a capacity to manage high-stress situations effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills essential for building rapport with a diverse patient population.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and essential computer applications.

• A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and confidentiality at all times.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
