Work Environment\n

This full-time role allows for a remote work setting, enabling you to provide support and therapy to clients from the comfort of your own space while also working closely with a committed team of professionals. Our outpatient office maintains a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, where ongoing training and cultural competence are highly valued. We operate Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with potential flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify patients' unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that consider patients’ cultural backgrounds, ensuring effective and relevant care.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions focusing on emotional well-being and resilience-building.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that every patient receives coordinated and holistic care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance and guidance.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources to foster independence and understanding.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case conferences and team meetings to refine therapeutic approaches and share insights on cultural competency.

• Stay updated on the latest research, best practices, and cultural considerations in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+ youth and adults, and members of immigrant communities. Understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by these populations will be central to your work, enabling you to provide tailored support and interventions that enhance their mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• Comprehensive understanding of various mental health disorders and the array of evidence-based treatment approaches.
\n
• Experience in delivering culturally responsive individual and group therapy.
\n
• Proficient crisis intervention skills, with the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
\n
• A commitment to upholding professional ethics, maintaining confidentiality, and establishing professional boundaries.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-degree clinical experience in a mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
