Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, ensuring each intervention aligns with client-specific needs.

• Engaging in regular communication with colleagues about treatment plans, progress, and care strategies, participating in interdisciplinary meetings such as patient rounds to enhance collaborative care.

• Providing competent care that addresses the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of patients, regardless of age.

• Delivering case management services by consulting and collaborating with fellow healthcare professionals and community resources to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

• Maintaining ethical and timely documentation as per departmental policies to ensure continuity of care.

• Implementing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions alongside other clinical evidence-based treatment modalities to assist patients and families in fulfilling their personalized service plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including adolescents, adults, and families seeking assistance for various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. By tailoring your therapeutic approach to the unique needs of each patient, you will be instrumental in facilitating their healing journey and improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in providing effective therapeutic interventions.

• A commitment to working between 10 to 40 hours per week, adaptable to client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience with evidence-based therapeutic approaches, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, is highly desirable. Additional expertise in working with school-aged children and families is a plus, as you will collaborate closely with educational institutions to support student mental health initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits\n
