This position is designed for a remote work setting, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home or any location where you feel most productive. While you will be working independently, you will also have regular interaction with our team members, including the Clinical Director and Executive Director. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate counseling needs and formulate diagnostic impressions, particularly with respect to substance use and mental health conditions.

• Utilize the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) for assessing substance abuse diagnoses and apply ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria to determine the appropriate level of care for each client.
\n
• Develop and prepare individualized treatment plans focused on substance abuse counseling, ensuring they align with the clients’ unique needs and goals.
\n
• Create comprehensive discharge plans and continuity of care strategies that ensure seamless transitions for clients moving to different levels of care.
\n
• Document all client interactions, educational services, assessments, and follow-ups meticulously in the client's clinical record to maintain compliance with legal standards.
\n
• Manage a caseload effectively by updating case management files and facilitating regular utilization reviews.
\n
• Coordinate support services for clients and their families, ensuring all interventions and resources are accurately recorded in clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with referral sources such as schools, legal representatives, and employers to provide holistic support for clients’ recovery journeys.

• Respond to crisis situations utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach, ensuring clients receive comprehensive and immediate interventions as required.
