Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to understand clients' needs, ensuring accurate documentation throughout the care continuum from initial consultations to treatment outcomes.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address the specific goals and challenges of clients, including progress monitoring and necessary adjustments based on therapeutic progress.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities and fostering a supportive group dynamic conducive to healing and growth.

• Collaborate with a variety of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create comprehensive intervention strategies that support holistic recovery for clients.

• Evaluate and address barriers to recovery by promoting coping strategies and preventive measures that empower clients and their families in managing mental health challenges effectively.

• Maintain proactive communication with healthcare providers for clients who may require hospitalization or additional medical interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population reflecting various demographics, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will tailor therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client, respecting cultural backgrounds and individual circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required; a Master's or Doctoral Degree is preferred.

• Current and valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong proficiency in electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for effective case management and documentation.
\n
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to build rapport and empathize with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working in outpatient settings, particularly with children and families facing emotional and behavioral health issues.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, co-occurring disorders, and an understanding of addiction treatment approaches.

• Familiarity with best practices endorsed by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
