Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Body Orthopedic Pain Management, Inc., you will be responsible for:

• Performing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations of clients' functional abilities to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Delivering direct physical therapy treatments to mitigate pain and enhance mobility, tailored to each individual's care/treatment plan.
• Administering a variety of therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and functional activities, while also utilizing modalities such as traction and massage.
• Assessing home environments to recommend necessary modifications that promote client independence during rehabilitation.
• Supervising and mentoring Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring compliance with the treatment plan and enhancing the overall care provided.
• Contributing actively to interdisciplinary team meetings for treatment planning and evaluations, and maintaining accurate clinical records as required.
• Consulting with clients and their families regarding therapy modalities, device usage, and at-home care techniques.
• Conducting community resource evaluations and functional assessments that support client recovery and independence efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, age-related mobility challenges, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

To thrive in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• A minimum of one (1) year experience in a physical therapy role within acute care or home care settings.
• Active Physical Therapist licensure in California, along with a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Current CPR certification.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, integrity, and delivering quality patient care.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, enabling effective client and team interactions.
• A comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and governing agency regulations related to physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will demonstrate creativity in developing innovative treatment strategies, familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities, and the ability to advocate for clientele across diverse service lines. Previous experience in a rehabilitation facility is advantageous.
