Work Environment

Our remote work setting pairs the convenience of telehealth with the personalization of direct patient interaction. As a member of our team, you will engage with clients through secure virtual platforms, ensuring they receive high-quality mental health care from the comfort of their homes. This role requires adaptability as you work flexible hours, primarily Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some variation based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments, taking the time to comprehend each client's unique experiences and backgrounds.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of patients, considering cultural nuances that influence their mental health.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on addressing mental health concerns, fostering resilience, and promoting overall well-being.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive and coordinated care plan for each patient.
• Respond effectively during mental health crises, providing immediate support and intervention to clients in need.
• Educate patients and their families regarding their mental health conditions and available treatment options, guiding them towards community resources and support systems.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with ethical and legal standards to ensure the integrity of patient information.
• Engage in regular case conferences and team meetings while participating in ongoing training focused on cultural competency and best practices.
• Stay updated on current research, emerging trends, and best practices in mental health therapy to continually enhance your clinical skills and effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of clients, including children, adults, and families from varying backgrounds. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and culturally competent therapeutic practices.
• Experience providing individual and group therapy grounded in culturally responsive approaches.
• Strong crisis intervention skills with the capacity to remain calm and effective during challenging situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse patient demographic.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
• A commitment to ethical practices, maintaining professional boundaries, and ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Ability to effectively collaborate as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly in outpatient settings focused on diverse populations.
• Background or training in culturally competent care and working with clients from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits
