Work Environment

This role allows you to work remotely, offering the flexibility to balance your professional commitments with personal responsibilities. Our outpatient office embraces a collaborative approach where therapists, psychiatrists, and support staff come together to address the needs of our clients. Working hours are generally Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; however, some schedule flexibility may be needed to accommodate individual patient needs, ensuring we uphold our commitment to quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to accurately evaluate each patient's specific needs and circumstances.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions customized to meet the diverse needs of clients, considering their cultural and personal backgrounds.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to tackle complex mental health concerns, fostering resilience, and improving overall well-being.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide a seamless, holistic approach to client care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention support when patients are in distress or facing mental health emergencies.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health challenges, treatment options, and the variety of community resources available to enhance their care experience.
• Maintain essential clinical documentation and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards to protect patient confidentiality and organizational integrity.
• Actively engage in case reviews and team meetings to foster collaboration, share insights, and enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
• A demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, along with a commitment to cultural competence in therapy.
• Experience delivering therapy to individuals and groups with a focus on culturally-responsive methods.
• Exceptional crisis intervention abilities, with a composed demeanor when addressing challenging scenarios.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven capability to build rapport across diverse populations.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications to ensure efficient workflow.
• A strong commitment to maintaining professional ethics, setting clear boundaries, and safeguarding client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
