Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and emotional needs, enabling you to create personalized treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for each client, ensuring their unique needs and goals are at the forefront of the therapeutic process.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including individual counseling, family therapy, and group sessions, to promote healing and resilience.
• Monitor client progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to enhance outcomes and maintain client engagement.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients who require urgent assistance, demonstrating your ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
• Maintain accurate and secure client records that comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and respect for client privacy.
• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals, to facilitate holistic care tailored to each client's journey.
• Engage in continuous professional learning to stay abreast of advancements in the mental health field and integrate new findings into your practice.
• Participate in regular supervision and training sessions aimed at enhancing your clinical skills and personal development.
• Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and professional standards as outlined by appropriate licensing boards and organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on individuals facing a range of mental health challenges. These may include anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related symptoms, and adjustment issues. You will be instrumental in providing support to clients from various backgrounds, each with unique experiences and therapeutic needs.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in Texas is essential.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills are necessary to tailor effective treatment plans.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will be vital in building rapport with clients and collaborating with the healthcare team.
