New Beginnings Behavioral Health LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work remotely while providing essential mental health services to a diverse client base. Our ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping individuals navigate their mental wellness journeys, drawing upon their expertise as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and establish individualized treatment plans in collaboration with your clients.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based practices and ensuring each session is client-focused.
• Regularly implement and review treatment goals, making necessary adjustments based on client progress and feedback.
• Engage with additional treatment providers, case managers, and other relevant agencies to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including client session notes and treatment progress reports.
• Manage a caseload effectively while ensuring adherence to scheduling and administrative responsibilities.
• Participate actively in regular team meetings and training sessions, contributing to a collaborative team culture.
• Promote a positive environment within the organization by enriching our team culture and supporting fellow staff members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our focus is on providing accessible and effective therapy to individuals, couples, and families seeking support and healing. Your role as a counselor is essential in contributing to improved mental health outcomes for our clients, helping them navigate difficult situations and empowering them toward personal growth and resilience.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active and unrestricted license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling or a related field is required.
• Knowledge of community mental health resources and available support services.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to connect and establish rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach in client and team interactions.
• Strong organizational skills to manage scheduling, caseload, and documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations and a range of mental health issues.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and online counseling modalities.
• Background in crisis intervention and management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and professional credentials. Additional benefits include:
