Work Environment

This remote role offers you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while providing counseling through an outpatient office model. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans that address each client’s unique circumstances.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Keep meticulous and up-to-date records of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care, participating in case reviews and treatment discussions.
• Engage in continued education and participation in workshops to remain current with advancements and best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients who may experience various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Many clients are from underserved communities seeking accessible resources for their mental health, making your role crucial in enhancing their quality of life and fostering resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, particularly in a clinical setting.
• Extensive knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to psychological practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a varied clientele.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance abuse counseling is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team to enhance client outcomes.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and other relevant technology.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload availability. Additionally, our benefits include access to health, dental, and vision insurance, malpractice insurance, and client referrals.
