Premier Physician Assistant Services is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in North Greece, New York. In this full-time, onsite role, you will be instrumental in assessing, diagnosing, planning, and implementing high-quality medical care for a diverse patient population. Work Environment

This position is based in a state-of-the-art hospital facility located in North Greece, NY. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, providing a stable 40-hour week with evening shifts commencing at 5:00 PM. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nursing staff, and specialists, fostering a cooperative atmosphere focused on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations, including history-taking and review of medical records, to identify and assess patients' health issues.
• Order, perform, and analyze diagnostic tests such as blood tests, imaging, and laboratory evaluations to guide diagnosis and treatment decisions.
• Diagnose and manage a wide array of health conditions, with a strong emphasis on family medicine, ensuring evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for chronic conditions and infectious diseases, optimizing patient outcomes through tailored care strategies.
• Prescribe medications appropriately while monitoring and managing the therapeutic responses of patients, adjusting treatment as necessary.
• Maintain detailed and organized patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and enabling seamless care transitions.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding medical conditions, preventative care, and healthy lifestyle choices, empowering them to take an active role in their health.
• Participate in daily rounds and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care during the patient's stay.
• Promote wellness and preventative care measures, focusing on strategies to enhance the health of the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will care for include a diverse range of individuals, from children to elderly patients, each presenting various healthcare needs. Qualifications

• A completed Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies is required.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is essential.
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• A solid background of at least 2 years of clinical experience in a family health clinic or a similar healthcare setting.
• Extensive knowledge of family medicine with the ability to handle a variety of cases.
• Detailed understanding of health regulations and guidelines.
• Exceptional communication skills to build effective relationships with patients and their families.
• A commitment to ethical standards and a patient-centered approach in care delivery.

• Possession of a valid DEA number for prescribing controlled substances.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually, which is commensurate with experience.
