Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing you to connect with patients from the comfort of your home or any location that works best for you. You will join a supportive and collaborative team that values cultural competence and diversity while adapting to the evolving needs of our patients. Our flexible schedule includes a standard work week from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some adjustments as required to best serve our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments by understanding the unique and multifaceted experiences of each patient to create personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques based on the latest research and tailored to the individual’s cultural context, including modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing diverse mental health concerns, enhancing coping mechanisms, improving emotional regulation, and promoting overall resilience.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare team members to guarantee coordinated care that addresses all facets of a patient’s mental health.

• Provide immediate and effective crisis intervention strategies during mental health emergencies, ensuring that patients receive the support they need swiftly.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, various treatment modalities, and community resources to empower them in their healing journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards, utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to streamline information sharing.

• Actively participate in team meetings, cultural competency training, and case conferences to foster ongoing professional development and a commitment to inclusive practices.

• Stay abreast of current developments in mental health research, evidence-based practices, and cultural considerations to enhance the quality of care we provide.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse population comprising individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, cultural communities, and those identifying as LGBTQ+. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license, such as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT, is required.

• Extensive understanding of mental health disorders and various evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Experience providing therapy in both individual and group settings, using culturally responsive methods that embrace and respect diversity.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.

• Exceptional communication skills, primarily focused on developing connections with patients from varied backgrounds.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and relevant computer applications, ensuring efficient management of patient records.

• A commitment to upholding professional boundaries, ethical standards, and confidentiality.

Compensation and Benefits\n
