Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and utilize the DSM-5 for diagnosis when necessary, leading to the creation of individualized treatment plans that cater to the diverse cultural backgrounds and specific needs of your patient population.

• Monitor and evaluate ongoing patient progress, adjusting interventions and therapeutic strategies to promote optimal mental health outcomes.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment records and clinical notes using current technological tools, adhering to regulatory standards and departmental policies.

• Collaboratively develop comprehensive treatment plans with patients, incorporating their feedback and focusing on achievable outcomes, while also engaging family members when appropriate.

• Engage in team meetings and case consultations, actively contributing to discussions on best practices and innovative treatment approaches.
\n
• Facilitate referrals and link clients with additional resources and providers to ensure continuity of care, while fostering strong relationships with external clinicians for optimal patient support.

• Provide guidance and educational support to future social work professionals, including interns and volunteers, enhancing their learning experiences with practical mentoring.

• Under the supervision of your clinical lead, participate in peer reviews and collaborative efforts to promote the professional growth of team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals and families navigating the complexities of mental health challenges related to a cancer diagnosis. The role focuses on fostering resilience and coping mechanisms, ensuring that our patients receive compassionate and evidenced-based care tailored to their specific situations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
