The therapist will operate in a fully remote setting, providing the flexibility needed to balance work and personal life while making a significant difference in the lives of clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate patients' traumatic histories and establish individualized treatment plans that cater to their specific needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist patients in processing trauma and developing healthy coping mechanisms.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on healing, skill development, and fostering a supportive community among trauma survivors.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and fellow healthcare providers to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care, enhancing treatment efficacy and patient satisfaction.

• Provide crisis intervention, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies and ensuring patients feel safe and supported.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available mental health resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure professional experience is preferred.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and interventions that promote resilience and recovery.

• Demonstrated experience in providing evidence-based trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic rapport with clients.

• Ability to remain composed under pressure and provide support during crises.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proficiency in relevant computer technologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers an attractive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
