Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, identifying their unique needs and challenges.

• Implement clinically appropriate interventions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices tailored to individual care plans.

• Maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary teams, including regular documentation and participation in meetings like patient rounds, to coordinate optimal treatment strategies.

• Provide case management alongside therapeutic services to ensure comprehensive care, collaborating with community resources and professionals to meet patient needs effectively.

• Ensure ethical and timely completion of documentation in accordance with department standards to facilitate smooth workflow and client care.

• Facilitate therapy sessions that focus on developing coping strategies while guiding clients through their individual service plans.

Qualifications\n

• Candidates must hold a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New York.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing mental health therapy to varied populations is essential.

• Applicants should be willing to commit to providing between 10 to 40 hours of therapy sessions each week.

Compensation and Benefits\n
