Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients’ mental health needs and develop tailored therapeutic plans.

• Administer evidence-based therapies, utilizing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy, among others.

• Regularly review and adjust treatment strategies based on clients’ progress and feedback to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals, to ensure coordinated care for clients.

• Maintain detailed clinical records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of client information.

• Stay updated with current developments in the mental health field through ongoing training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Boulevard Behavioral Health Center, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, and substance abuse. Your ability to develop rapport and build trust with clients will be crucial in facilitating effective therapy. A deep understanding of the societal factors impacting mental health will enable you to provide contextually sensitive care that addresses both individual and systemic challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must hold active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• At least three years of professional counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting, is essential.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards within the mental health profession.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with a wide range of clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
