Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized therapy sessions, applying various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive treatment plans as per client assessment, ensuring each plan is regularly updated based on client progress and changing needs.

• Actively participate in case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings, leveraging feedback and insights to enhance client treatment outcomes.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation aligned with organizational standards and state regulations, ensuring compliance and quality of care.

• Assist clients in identifying practical strategies for change, including coping skills for anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

• Engage in ongoing outreach initiatives and community workshops, aimed at raising mental health awareness and reducing stigma.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will involve working with diverse populations experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma, and relationship issues. You will collaborate with clients from various cultural backgrounds, and thus cultural competence will be essential in tailoring your approach to foster trust and engagement.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required; however, candidates holding a Master's degree are highly preferred.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling is required.
