Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating an engaging atmosphere that encourages clients to openly share their thoughts and experiences.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting realistic and measurable goals tailored to their unique needs.

• Implement effective therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), to promote emotional regulation and coping strategies.

• Monitor and document client progress using established assessment tools and feedback methods, ensuring continuous improvement of therapeutic practices.

• Coordinate care with other health professionals, participating in case consultations to address complex client needs and enhance interdisciplinary collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on young adults navigating mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, and the effects of trauma. You will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, each necessitating a personalized approach to counseling, making it essential to adapt therapeutic strategies to meet individual cultural, social, and emotional needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required to ensure a deep understanding of mental health principles and practices.

• Active LPC licensure in the state of Georgia is essential to practice within our organization.

• A strong foundation in mental health treatment, particularly in outpatient or community health settings, is preferred.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.

• An understanding of various therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to, motivational interviewing, CBT, and DBT is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a community health clinic or similar environment, addressing the diverse needs of clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
