Work Environment

As an onsite physical therapist in our modern rehabilitation center, you will operate within a vibrant and supportive team atmosphere. Our typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life commitment. The environment is designed to facilitate hands-on treatment while providing ample opportunities for professional collaboration and growth, ensuring you will be supported in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess individual patient needs to determine therapeutic objectives and treatment plans.
• Manage a targeted patient caseload, with the capacity to work with one patient per hour, ensuring focused and personalized therapy sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to administer therapies that improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Develop and implement tailored exercise and rehabilitation programs that address each patient's specific condition and personal goals.
• Employ manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and enhance mobility, reducing the reliance on surgical interventions and medication.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, such as WebPT, to maintain comprehensive patient records.
• Engage in regular consultations and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to create integrated treatment plans.
• Motivate and guide patients through their rehabilitation journey, encouraging holistic approaches to lifestyle changes that promote better health.
• Monitor and evaluate each patient's progress toward their goals while adapting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.
• Conduct educational sessions that inform patients about body mechanics, injury prevention, and strategies for promoting long-term health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The orthopedic focus of our rehabilitation center allows you to work primarily with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgical procedures, or chronic pain conditions. By addressing specific issues related to mobility and functional impairments, you will have the opportunity to profoundly impact your patients' lives, helping them return to their preferred levels of activity and wellness.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate degree (MPT or DPT) in Physical Therapy is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design are essential.
• Experience with electronic medical record software, specifically WebPT, is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient therapy setting is highly desirable.
• Background in developing individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of patients' needs.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits
