Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific goals and needs, utilizing techniques such as hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and appropriate modalities.
• Regularly track and document patient progress, modifications in treatment plans, and therapeutic outcomes.
• Assess the need for assistive devices and instruct patients and families in their proper use to enhance mobility and independence.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on therapeutic exercises and strategies to facilitate recovery.
• Maintain compliance with professional standards and practice guidelines through continuous professional development and participation in relevant workshops and training.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily serve an adult and geriatric population dealing with various rehabilitative needs. Patients typically include those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological disorders, and other impairments affecting mobility. A compassionate approach to care is crucial in ensuring that patients feel supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid and active Physical Therapy license in the State of Florida.

• Competency in utilizing electronic health records and other healthcare technologies.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
