Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary assessments and interviews, documenting all interactions from the initial consultation through to the completion of treatment.

• Evaluate the mental, behavioral, and emotional health of clients to understand their unique challenges and needs.

• Develop and implement tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring these strategies are rooted in best practices.

• Facilitate engaging and effective individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to foster a productive healing environment.

• Continuously monitor client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, physicians, and social workers to create integrated care plans that address the diverse needs of clients.

• Provide follow-up support for clients who are referred to inpatient care, coordinating with psychiatrists and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

• A passing score on national counseling examinations such as the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey empathic and clear messages to clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in a mental health counseling role.

• Familiarity with psychotropic medications and their effects as prescribed by health professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, with a sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.
