Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while serving clients via telehealth platforms. We value work-life balance, with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient availability.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's history and unique needs, establishing an effective baseline for tailored treatment plans.

• Design and execute personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and enhancing emotional resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver impactful therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process past traumas and cultivate strategies for coping and healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and ensure holistic treatment for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing your expertise to stabilize and support clients.

• Provide education to patients and their families regarding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain precise documentation in line with both legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality of all patient interactions.

• Participate in essential team meetings and case consults to contribute to best practices and enhance trauma-informed care initiatives.

• Stay updated on the latest research and clinical trends in trauma therapy, actively applying new knowledge to improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including various forms of abuse, loss, and natural disasters. Our client base is diverse, representing a wide age range and various backgrounds, all united in their pursuit of healing and mental wellness within a trauma-informed context.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.
\n
• Thorough understanding of trauma-related disorders and experience with trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to deliver various trauma-focused therapies effectively.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• A calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and essential computer software.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
