Work Environment

The work environment at our rehabilitation facility is dynamic and supportive, designed to facilitate both professional growth and patient engagement. Physical Therapists will work alongside skilled interdisciplinary teams, collaborating with occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals. The full-time schedule runs Monday to Friday, with shifts from either 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving optimal recovery.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic methods, including exercise regimens, manual therapy techniques, and advanced rehabilitation technology to enhance patient mobility and alleviate pain.
• Carefully document treatment progress, ensuring accurate record-keeping that informs ongoing care and therapeutic adjustments.
• Monitor patient progress through regular re-evaluations, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet shifting recovery goals.
• Provide instruction on the appropriate use of assistive devices and educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic interventions and self-management strategies.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, networking, and participation in professional societies to stay abreast of industry advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active state license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
