Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, including in-home visits, tailored to the unique needs of each child, ensuring adherence to best practices in mental health care.

• Design and implement effective therapeutic strategies to address behavioral challenges, including anger management and coping skills, to improve the child’s social interactions.

• Actively contribute to the decision-making process for youth and caregivers, enhancing their ability to manage behavioral issues through education and support.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary Child Family Treatment Team, comprising educators, social workers, and other specialists, to create a cohesive support system for clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, including intake assessments and progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.

• Participate in monthly team meetings, sharing insights and suggestions to improve the effectiveness of services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work closely with children aged 3-20 who face a variety of developmental challenges, including autism spectrum disorders and other intellectual disabilities. Our client base represents a cross-section of the community, providing you with the opportunity to engage with diverse backgrounds and unique family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license is mandatory for this position.

• You must be available for at least 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (approximately 4 PM to 7 PM), with additional weekend flexibility appreciated.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing positive behavior support interventions is highly preferred.

• Prior work with children ages 3-20, particularly those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is a significant plus.

• A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are necessary for home visitations.
\n
• All candidates must successfully pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, to ensure the safety of our clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 60,000 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
