Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to fully understand each client's mental health concerns, enabling the development of customized treatment plans tailored to their needs.

• Provide individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic approaches to foster emotional healing and stability.

• Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals and monitor their progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting the approach as necessary to ensure effectiveness.

• Offer teletherapy options that cater to clients' preferences for virtual sessions, thereby removing barriers to accessing mental health care.

• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, upholding ethical standards and regulatory compliance.

• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, attending workshops and training sessions to enhance counseling skills and stay abreast of industry advancements.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid licensure in the state of Massachusetts as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrated empathy and compassion, coupled with a non-judgmental attitude towards client's experiences and challenges.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with a wide range of mental health issues, particularly trauma and anxiety disorders, is highly preferred. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and knowledge of best practices in remote counseling will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Additionally, any training in specialized therapeutic techniques or previous work within a private practice setting will be considered advantageous.
