Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through virtual assessments to determine clients’ needs and establish a baseline for treatment.

• Document detailed case notes from initial consultations through the duration of treatment, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping through electronic health record systems.
\n
• Develop and implement personalized intervention and recovery plans for a variety of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions tailored to each client’s therapeutic goals.
\n
• Monitor clients’ progress throughout their treatment plans, adjusting interventions as necessary to facilitate optimal recovery.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including other mental health specialists, medical doctors, and social workers to design cohesive treatment plans.

• Provide support and guidance to family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with tools to address mental health challenges.

• Conduct follow-ups with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients requiring hospital admission, ensuring continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a broad range of patient demographics, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. You will engage with clients through empathetic listening and evidence-based therapeutic techniques, creating a safe space for healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• Successful completion of examinations such as the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques and client interaction.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, to manage client data effectively.
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health conditions, addiction disorders, and related physical health issues.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to engage with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within a telehealth framework and familiarity with best practices for remote therapy.

• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and protocols.

• In-depth understanding of pharmacological treatments prescribed by psychiatrists or medical specialists.

• Adeptness in applying various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and family systems therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
