Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities to identify their unique goals and needs.
• Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans that include a variety of therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise, and patient education.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Provide one-on-one guidance and support throughout each treatment session, actively motivating patients to maximize their rehabilitation potential.
• Design tailored fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Foster a supportive environment that encourages patient engagement and empowerment in their recovery process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and maintain clear and effective communication with patients and their families regarding progress and next steps.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves adult patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. Patients come to us seeking rehabilitation for a variety of conditions, including but not limited to sports injuries, post-operative recovery, and chronic pain management. We focus on adopting a holistic approach that addresses both the physical and emotional aspects of recovery, ensuring a supportive and effective rehabilitation experience.

Qualifications

• Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and in designing and implementing effective exercise programs.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, prior involvement in multidisciplinary teams, and specialized training in orthopedic rehabilitation will be advantageous. Familiarity with the latest rehabilitation technologies and therapeutic methodologies is highly desirable in order to enhance patient care.
