Work Environment

The Physician Assistant will work onsite in our hospital facility, engaging with patients from various backgrounds and cultures. Our hospital is equipped with advanced medical technology and tools enabling practitioners to provide comprehensive care effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations for patients with personal injuries, assessing their needs and establishing care plans.
• Prescribe medications such as NSAIDs, muscle relaxers, and medicated patches based on clinical guidelines and individual patient needs.
• Order and interpret MRI scans and other diagnostic tests to guide the treatment process.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to connect with patients remotely, providing follow-up care and advice as needed.
• Coordinate and refer patients to physical therapy and pain management specialists for comprehensive treatment.
• Maintain and document accurate patient medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance in all practices.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to create a holistic approach to patient care that leads to better health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physician Assistant at Top Care Health Center, you will primarily serve a diverse patient population that includes individuals grappling with chronic pain, personal injuries, and other healthcare concerns. Qualifications

• A current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.
• A Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant from a nationally recognized certifying body, reinforcing professional standing.
• Proficiency in medical documentation practices and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in pain management or a related field is preferred, we value candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to professional development and patient-centered care. Experience working with telehealth tools will be advantageous as we integrate technology further into our practice.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 – 180,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
